What is covered?

This course  gives and easily digestible introduction to the main commodity markets and how investors’ trade in the spot market and use derivatives to underpin more advanced trading strategies.  We will illustrate using the well-known markets in gold and oil, taking a look at market trends along the way.

Who will benefit?

Participants looking to develop an understanding of main commodities markets and an appreciation of what derivatives are, in particular forwards and futures.  No prior knowledge is necessary.
